I have had this dress for a month and already worn it five times. So why don’t I recommend you buy it? Because it’s so original and comfortable and fabulous and perfect that I don’t want anyone else to have it!!
Here is an abbreviated list of strangers who have stopped me to shower this dress with compliments.

- The aerial performance artists at a fancy fundraiser… while still hanging in the air.

I didn't find this very flattering on myself. If you are mid-size with a large bust, the ruffles add a lot more width up top that you may not like. Even belted, I found it bunched up and rode up in the waist area and didn't lay very nice. I typically like ruffles, especially in the shoulder area, but these just made me look bulky. Very cool print, wish it worked for me!

Having seen and dug a lot of the KH items online, I finally dipped my toe into the water to buy this dress. Great pattern, but the dress wasn't lined and was sheer and the quality of the fabric was so cheap and fit was mediocre (often a problem with so-called one-sizing). It felt like H+M or Forever 21 with a much upgraded price tag. I guess I'm the outlier on this dress. For $157 and a $9 return fee? No thanks. Glad to have tried KH, but will stay away now that I know.

A "general size guide" doesn't ever truly work in the fashion world because of fabric and fit (stretch, oversized, bodycon, tailored, etc.). Make sure to measure yourself and reference the tape icon on each product page to get the best fit.
